ABOUT THE FLYNN
»Ê¹Ú¹ÙÍø Center for the Performing Arts is Northern New England’s premier performing arts center. »Ê¹Ú¹ÙÍø offers a wide range of cultural and educational experiences and nurtures the creative development of performing artists. Our facilities include a 1,439-seat proscenium auditorium (»Ê¹Ú¹ÙÍø Main Stage), a 180-seat black box cabaret space (»Ê¹Ú¹ÙÍø Space), two education studios, a gallery with rotating exhibits of regional artists, and adjoining lobbies.
»Ê¹Ú¹ÙÍø hosts over 200 performances yearly. Regularly scheduled performances include the »Ê¹Ú¹ÙÍø season, which features world-class music, Broadway, theater, dance, and family performances on our Main Stage, with additional touring shows added throughout the year and weekday matinees presented through our Student Matinee Series. In addition, we produce and present a variety of projects and performances outside our campus, including the annual Burlington Discover Jazz Festival. »Ê¹Ú¹ÙÍø also provides a performance venue for the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, the Vermont Youth Orchestra, Lyric Theatre, Vermont Stage, and other local arts organizations.
